You Will Need (6 things)
- Scotch Tape
- Pen
- 6 Rhinestone(s) per tube
- 1 Scissors
- Decorative Paper
- thin Cardboard
Steps (8 steps, 45 minutes)
-
1
Get your stuff ready! I always get out a small box to put my scraps in so I can clean up as I go.
-
2
Roll you cardboard in the paper until it is fully covered. Using your pen, mark where you going to cut, remember to add an extra inch or so.
Cover tube in glue, wrap paper around, and add a small piece of tape where the two ends meet, to keep it together. -
3
Using scissors, make slits in the excess paper right to the edge of the tube. Fold them down to the edge of the tube, so each end of the tube looks like this.
-
4
With the excess removed, you should have a clean cut tube with the paper around it. Wrap your ribbon around one end of the tube, leaving a cm of excess, and cut. Generously apply glue to one side of the ribbon. Start placing your ribbon onto the tube, but make sure that you start where the ends of the paper meet, so it looks nicer. Apply to bottom end.
-
5
Place your rhinestones/decorations wherever you would like!!
-
6
Trace the tube onto the cardboard, and cut out the circles. Those will be your end pieces. Push the cardboard down the top of the tube and then take your pen to push it all the way down, and flatten it so your tube has a bottom.
-
7
Repeat steps 2-6 on your other tubes.
-
8
Cover where your ends of paper and ribbon meet in glue, and stick one tube to the other. Tape the bottoms of each tube to the others, for extra security. I also tape the sides of the top together to keep them all together.
Do this with all of them, you should get a lovely anything holder!
