After watching My Neighbor Totoro 5 million times, I've loved little acorns. I decided to actually put my collection of tiny acorns to use and make some earrings! They're not very complex or glamorous. I might dress them up later.

Gather your supplies! You need two similarly sized acorns, two eyepins, two earring hooks, and needlenose pliars. You could substitute the eyepins for some jewelry wire, if you please.
Poke a hole through the top of your acorn using a sturdy needle or a safety pin. It might be difficult to pierce but try to make the hole horizontal. Mine was a little slanted.
Bend your eyepin/wire and insert through the hole in the acorn, like so.
Bend the eyepin up around the other side of the acorn and twist excess around the straight part of the eyepin.
Put earring hooks through the loops and close the loops up. Tada~!
