Description

All you need is a bit of paper and a few Ferrero Rocher cups which you usually crumble up and discard. You'll need: * Cups of Ferrero Rocher chocolates * A thread chain (you can make your own: Grab two sturdy pieces of thread-> Neatly tie the ends together and trim off the excess-> Attach a hook on one side and a few rings on the other. Done) * Paper glue * Paint - bronze/gold/brown/black(optional) * Scissors * two thin strips of paper (15-17 cms in length, 2cms width)

Instructions

  1. Small picture 017

Collect a few of these adorable cups. I used 5 cups.

  2. Small picture 018

Lets do one cup at a time: * Flatten the cup into a circular shape. * Fold it into a semicircle and cut it along the crease.

  3. Small picture 019

    * Fold the semicircle again into half and cut it along the crease.

  4. Small picture 020

Do this with all the cups. You'll now have 20 pieces of paper.

  5. Small picture 022

Start rolling up the pieces into neat little cones. Use a little glue to paste the end of the cone after you finish wrapping up. Let all the cones dry completely

  6. Small picture 023

Next slather some glue on one side of a cone. Hold them thus (as I have held them in the picture) for convenience.

  7. Small picture 024

Attach another cone to it and hold the two together for a few seconds. Gently set them down.

  8. Small picture 025

Glue cones in twos or threes and let them dry.

  9. Small picture 026

Glue the twos and threes (mine have gone up to 4s and 6s :D) and let them dry.

  10. Small picture 027

Finally glue all the large pieces and let them dry. Phew! so much of gluing and drying.

  11. Small picture 029

Meanwhile lets make some paper rolls to pass the chain through. take a long strip of paper

  12. Small picture 034

Fold it in half and glue.

  13. Small picture 031

Roll it up with the help of a not so thick cylindrical object.

  14. Small picture 032

I used a Boll point pen refill. Fold it up into a TIGHT cylinder; it'll loosen up once you let go.

  15. Small picture 033

    Glue the end.

  16. Small picture 036

Make two of these and set them aside to let it dry.

  17. Small picture 037

See that your chain passes through the cylinders

  18. Small picture 038

You can paint them or just leave them be plain white. After all they're going to be on the backside of our pendent. I painted them bronze. (Let dry of course, if you choose to paint them) Yes I know they are not equal. Don't fret I'll trim the larger one.

  19. Small picture 039

Give them all a good few hours to dry completely. Assemble everything.

  20. Small picture 040

Glue a the cylinders to any one side of your pendent.

  21. Small picture 041

Let it dry. The final wait!

  22. Small picture 042

Pass the chain through the cylinders and...

  23. Small picture 043

    ...your tribal necklace is ready!

There! Too many steps? omg 24! never mind .. I wanted to give it to you in extreme detail , forgive my OCD :)
