Cut off the sleeves.
Cut straight a slight sweetheart neckline across front, and cut straight across back.
If necessary, take in sides and add bust darts to fit your body.
Hem the top edge.
From the sleeves, cut two rectangles, roughly 8 inches by 18 inches, for straps.
Sew each rectangle into a long tube and turn right-side-out.
Fold raw edges inward and sew ends closed.
Scrunch ends of straps and sew to front and back of top edge.
Trim excess length.
Hem bottom edge.
With scrap trimmed from bottom edge, sew into a very, very long tube and turn right-side-out. Finish off ends and use as a sash.
