Instructions

Here is combined a long multi-strand necklace with a contrasting, shorter spiked necklace.

  2. This combination uses the same colors in different lengths layered together.

These two necklaces are in the same color but different tones, one turquoise and the other dark blue. Sometimes I mix it up and wear one necklace inside and the other necklace outside my collar.

  4. This is layering two shorter necklaces. The back necklace is multi-strand and busy so I layered a simple necklace on top that will stand out against the background.

  5. This pairing combines one necklace that acts as background for the necklace on top. The neutral color and spikes of the bottom necklace frame the top pendant necklace.

Here is combination of the same color scheme and different lengths. I chose the green color because it popped so well against the black and white shirt.

This the same multi-strand necklace from the first photo, paired with a different, braided bead necklace to give you an idea of how you can change out one necklace to create a completely different look.

This is by far the craziest layering of necklaces that I have done. This is three pieces layered on eachother. In order to get the desired length on each necklace I attached them to eachother near the back and ended up only clasping the longest necklace, which they were all attached too. This is an example of just allowing yourself to get creative and have fun!
