I stumbled across this treasure yesterday, 8th March 2015, at the Royal School of Needlework's biannual sale at Hampton Court Palace, Surrey. Hidden away in a Tudor fireplace, tucked out of sight behind lots of plastic bags, was this curiosity. A part-completed wall-hanging/fabric picture. £2.50 was its ticket price, so I trotted home with my new treasure, beaming from ear to ear. Closer inspection at home showed it to be even MORE of a treasure than initially thought. The ziplock bag had lots of pieces of paper, envelopes, etc. and it turns out that it wasn't a vintage pattern, but a project inspired by a vintage Circus stationery wallet! There are multiple pieces of pattern paper, greaseproof paper, tracing paper, cardboad cutouts and envelopes with sketches and cut-outs for the different characters to be added to the scene. I have no idea how long it will take me - it will be one of those things to take out on lazy summer evenings!

A few embroidery stitches that need to be refined / remembered!
