HOW TO MAKE QUILLING TEAPOT & CUP USING STRIPS

Today I’m sharing a Tutorial on 3D Quilling Art.

For this you need some Strips which you can make by yourself or you can buy readymade Quilling strips. If you make strips by your own, then you’ve to paint it.

You Will Need (1 thing)

  • Strips, Glue, Toothpick, Scissor, Acrylic colours & brush

Steps (27 steps, 180 minutes)

    Take Strips of length 21.1 cm and width 5 mm.

    For teapot:

    Take 8 strips & join them. Then roll it on pen to get ring shape.

    Make thick ring coil.

    Now, push it upward from inside to have a teapot shape.

    Like this you will get.

    Apply glue to make it strong.

    Take 15 Strips of length 18.1 cm & 3 mm wide. Make tight coil to fix in lower part of teapot.

    Apply glue on lower edge part of the teapot & fix the tight coil.

    Take 4 strips of length 18.1 cm & width 3 mm.

    Make tight coil & push it upward from inside and glue the inner part.

    This is how it will look.

    Take strip of 10.8 cm length & 3 mm width and roll them.

    Again, make tight coil.

    Apply glue on top part of teapot cover and join the small tight coil.

    Apply glue on top part edge of the teapot for sharp surface. This is done so that the paper will remain in good state.

    Take one strip of length 13.7 cm & width 3 mm. Make tight coil.

    Give a cone shape to it.

    Apply glue on inner part & let it dry.

    Using scissor, cut some part of the cone in slanting position.

    Fix the cone on Teapot.

    For handle:

    Take 2 strips of 3 mm width & measure how much do you need the size of the handle. According to that, fold the strip using glue.
    Make the handle thick.

    Fix the handle on teapot.

    For Cup:

    Take 6 strips of length 18.1 cm & 3 mm wide.
    Make the shape of the cup as done for teapot.

    Make a tight coil using 3 mm width strip & Check whether it fits on lower part of the cup or not. If not, then join extra strips.

    Take 2 mm width strip & make handle for cup. Do as done for teapot.

    For plate:

    Take 8 strips of length 21.1 cm & width 3 mm. Make tight coil & glue only one side.

    Now, paint according to your choice of colours.
    I like dark colours, so I did like this.
