I made these for my friend for Christmas. I think they turned out really well and they kind of work if you squint through them.

Take a square pegboard and with white hama beads, make the outline of the glasses. The glasses are 22 beads wide and 8 deep.
Place another row of white beads on the inside and fill in the middle bridge of the glasses, which should be 5 wide.
Fill in the right square with translucent green beads.
Finally, fill in the right square with translucent red beads.
Cover the design with wax paper and carefully iron on a low heat until all the beads stick together.
Leave to cool and remove from the pegboard.
Cut a long length of necklace chain - long enough so that when you have the glasses around your neck you can bring them up to your eyes.
Pierce through the middle of the beads at the top left and right hand corners and slip through jump rings. Slip on the each side of the chain and close.
