Upcycle your old glow-in-the-dark stars from your ceiling into this one of a kind sparkly necklace.
Upcycle your old glow-in-the-dark stars from your ceiling into this one of a kind sparkly necklace.
Star by smothering your star in lots of glue. You can use ordinary Elmers glue, tacky glue, or whatever you brand of choice is.
While still wet, cover your entire star in the glitter color of your choice. You may even cover the star with more glue while everything is still wet to keep it sealed. Repeat this with each star you're using.
After your stars dry, arrange them into the shape of a necklace. Use dots of strong hold glue to secure the pieces together.
Using a needle or another sharp object, add holes to the outside corners of your star. Just 2 will be all you need.
Attach your chain to both sides of your necklace. Chain length is up to you. Mine is about 7 inches.
Don't forget to add a necklace clasp!
Your necklace should now be complete! Show it off, superstar.
