When my sister passed me two plaid scarves, I knew I wanted to reuse them for her. She liked the colors but, found that they itched her neck. Also, her little baby keeps grabbing anything around her neck. So, I decided to make a simple wreath to brighten up her home this winter.
When my sister passed me two plaid scarves, I knew I wanted to reuse them for her. She liked the colors but, found that they itched her neck. Also, her little baby keeps grabbing anything around her neck. So, I decided to make a simple wreath to brighten up her home this winter.
Start with a wire wreath and two scarves.
Slice the first scarf into strips 4"w x 2"h.
Add strips by tying knots. Cluster them in even groups on the form, leaving space for the second scarf.
Cut the second scarf into strips. Tie them onto the form, in between the clusters of the other scarf.
Trim knots as needed to keep the shape. Now your wreath is complete.
