I created this dress because I adore a maternity shirt that my mom wore in the '70s that I nowadays wear as a dress. It has short bell sleeves and there's something I just love about the look of that style of sleeves. I bought a lace curtain (because I will never not love lace) from a thrift store and created this beauty from scratch. If you plan to embark on this project, I recommend past experience sewing lace and knowing how to sew a french seam/use a serger. https://www.youtube.com/user/mcm3760 My facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RachelsCraftChannel

Start out with lace curtains/fabric/tablecloth/
And this is what the finished product should look like! I wear a tan nightgown under it and usually a belt over it.
