How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I'm not entirely sure I remember how I found CO+K, it was during the time that I was active on several craft and DIY websites including threadbanger and burdastyle. I joined because I loved the community feel and the amazing members giving feedback and inspiring one another.
What projects are you currently working on?
I just finished a simple tank top make with some fabric I painted myself, I'm also working on a pair of trousers for my boyfriend and I'm about to start a project to sew an entire summer wardrobe.

What does your craft space look like?
I recently redecorated my room in London, I put together a brand new desk that's perfect for crafting so that I don't have to keep all my things in shoe boxes under the bed. Having my own personal craft space does so much to inspire me!
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
In terms of tools it's most certainly the humble pencil, I use it to draw, sketch out sewing ideas, transfer patterns to fabric, everything starts with a pencil. Other than that I do a lot of crafting with just fabric and paint. Those are also my comfort zones.
What do you craft along to?
Most of the time I just listen to music, I listen to a whole range of music from Joanna Newsom to Alt J, I also watch TV if I have any hand sewing to do, because then I don't have to pay as close attention to my work as when I'm using a machine. I like to watch TV shows and films that I've seen before so that I don't have to devote much attention to watching (I love a good period film, or anything with beautiful visuals). Movies are also great for inspiration before crafting.

Favorite Craft
My top crafts are sewing, drawing and drawing on my sewing but I do more sewing lately. My favourite things to make are clothes, there's nothing like turning a pile of cloth into a beautiful finished garment, it's like magic!

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
One new craft would be developing film photos, I love photography and I would love to develop my own film, it would save a lot of money and encourage me to actually take photos with my film cameras more often! If I could make one thing it would be a tailored coat, entirely hand sewn, just because I love a challenge.
Who are your crafting heroes?
I'd say it is whoever wrote my rainy days activity book from when I was little, I had a massive book of all sorts of crafts, it even had the complicated pattern sheet with overlapping coloured patterns, which is how I first learned to trace and cut patterns when I was 6. I loved that book so much I spent most of my days wishing for rain so that I could stay inside and craft instead of playing outside with friends. These days I take crafting inspiration from so many sources it's hard to pin point just own hero.
