baby boy?
I'm looking for a good project to make for a baby boy, something unique-ish? They've already got a few diaper cakes given to them, else I'd do that.
For girls I'm going to be doing a pleated skirt but I just can't think of something to do for a boy...
Maybe make a mobile or textile decoration for the babies room, or make a pair of baby shoes/booties from fabric.
I love the mobile idea!
an awesome toque like yoda or the like depending on what the parents like.
Here are some things I have made my baby nephew. He really enjoys the felt food!

I made this hat for my brother and was promptly told to make another for my lil sister.

Hooded towels - you can embellish/applique for individuality
Footie pajamas!
Yah footie pajamas those are cute~
I should try footie pajamas! They are super cute!
If you need to find a good boyish fabric, try cartoony dinosaurs or something with race cars... or maybe something the new parents are into.

a bear and a blanket, so cute, and kids look cute cuddling them too. 2 toys in 1.
Those remind me of something I saw in a 1993 Singer sewing book... Basically it was a baby's bath towel with a terrycloth hood and paws made to look like an animal. It looked super easy to make, and I would imagine that baby bath supplies aren't a gift that everyone thinks of!
