That sounds nice and relaxing - I have such a hectic weekend, and that's after a busy week too so I could really do with a sleep in.

We're taking my Mum to Glasgow today and then to see the Manic Street Preachers in the evening. On Sunday, there's an awesome vintage fair in town and then we're going for dim sum with our friends. Nom! Happy

Awesome suggestion KT Geek - I've never been to the castle and I hear they have a pet cemetery in the grounds that I've been hoping to visit.

Awesome tip KT - I'm a little tempted to hit up the pound shop (aka the dollar store y'all) and make one for myself Happy

The book comes with the pattern for the bias cut top and I'm tempted to try and sew it before Monday's episode. Last year, I baked along with the Great British Bake Off, challenging myself to bake the same recipes each week and it did wonders for my cooking skills. I'd love to do the same with my dressmaking skills! Love

So you may or may not have noticed a new feature on the blog called #CraftyInTheCity where I'm blagging my way in to all the cool stuff in Edinburgh for free, gigs and other events by crafting tutorials and blogging about my experience.

On Friday, we were at the Idlewild gig: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/blog/2016/5/idlewild-at-museum-lates-celts and the week before, we went to see the pandas at the zoo: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/blog/2016/5/edinburgh-zoo

Well, I don't see why we should be having all the fun. Are there any cool things you'd like to visit in your town, or a gig coming up you'd love to go to? If you feel up to writing a little blog about your experience and making a craft tutorial or recipe inspired by your visit, send me a message and I'll do my best to get you along! #funfunfunfunfun Smile Shock

    Hey guys,

So Tom's got a day job at the moment, while we save up for grown-up things (like weddings and houses *yarn*), so it's just me and Bobbin manning the site during the days. Tom'll still be around at the evenings and weekends but to make things easier, we'll be handling his to-do list. First on our list, is to give the boards a makeover so it would be awesome if you could join in, get the conversation flowing, send me your suggestions and of course, point out any nasty bugs. Ick!

Just wanted to keep you all updated and if you do find any issues.... it's probably because someone's sitting on the keyboard (not naming any names) Computer

    Cat and Bobbin xx

I have so many, I had to make a Bobbin emoticon for it! Fail

My last one was trying to make a hollowed out book. It was all going perfectly until I decided to cut a shape out of the cover and then I realised I'd cut the shape out upside down. Boooooo Annoyed
