How many swaps you have been in, please list the swaps so I can look at the threads: 6 - Goody bag swap, Vetran/newbie, new age, global village swap, friendship book swap, Recycled swap and I'm now in the zodiac swap (which is almost ready to send out), dinosaur swap and another round of the friendship book swap.
What problems have you had in previous swaps, your fault (I don't like that word but couldn't think of anything else to say..) Or your partners fault: I've had people move home which I suppose is life and not a big problem so long as I'm told before I send anything. Thats come up in the recent round of the friendship book swap. For me its normally money and that normally isn't a problem till I come to send out and if its going too far afield like US or Oz. I've had a recent problem with crafters block and that was when I was doing the global village swap. That did make me a bit late but I kept Ale (my partner) informed and posted on the thread.

I got the 2nd parcel yesterday and opened it today. Great pad. I'll post some piccies of it all tomorrow. I really love everything, my boyfriend wants me to wear the button earrings tomorrow.
I've held onto the two I have for you so I'll keep them till you send a new address. Good luck with the move.
Uploaded my first crochet creation so it should appear tomorrow Its a crocheted hat. It was a bit of silliness as I'd crocheted a couple of tiny squares and needed an actual project to try and my boyfriend suggested a hat so that's what I did. I didn't follow any pattern, I just made it up as I went along. I'm a definite convert to crochet though so thanks both of you for the tips and advice
Ale I'm so glad it reached you and all in one piece I'm also really glad you liked it all. \o/
I just finished 'A spot of bother' by Mark Haddon and it was amazing. I'd definitely recommend it.
Wow what lovely stuff. The bracelet is beautiful
Thats such a shame but I understand. Sorry I didn't respond to your concern earlier, I think I missed it
UK postage isn't too bad. I try not to make things that are too heavy or bulky or likely to break, especially if its going abroad but obviously its hard sometimes and depends on the theme. I think the most I've spent is about £6. Jiffy bags seem to be pretty good for posting and wrapping things in tissue paper seems to keep things lightweight and well protected.
I'd agree with that too. It sounds like they're being really immature and it does sound like sour grapes/jealousy on their part - either cos they were interested and didn't get their arse's in gear or cos they want to be going out with someone or wish they were more like him but either way thats not your problem and you should do your best to let it wash over you. Creative's right - don't let them get the satisfaction of knowing they are getting to you. Good luck though.
Thanks Becca for the stuff I opened it all tonight and love it all, the bag made me laugh I've just got a new phone so haven't worked out how to take or upload pics so they maybe a few days while I suss that out.
Ah no worries
Same here - got some cool stickers to use and some ideas but no time to get making Hopefully tomorrow.
I feel a total twit. I got my parcel today from Becca and put it in my locker at work to open on my break and then forgot all about it! I'll have to wait till Thursday now I'll post some piccies thursday but thanks for the parcel
Yeah starting now (sorry I forgot to say that) - If everyone tries to send out their new books by the middle of next week that should get us started
No I didn't pick up anything from Craftacular in the end - I think it was on the wrong side of pay day for me
