Hey, no more drama on CO&K

Yeah Roxanne, it's coming from the newbies, but not the ones like yourself. We're all just one big happy crafting family here!!! Would love to keep it drama free.

Maybe there should be a special board called 'playground' where people could put their 'I don't like your project cos I could do it better' type comments If it gets out of hand and there's too much hair pulling we could send it a dinner lady to moderate

I don't think I would like that Arty. Some can't take criticism as well as others, so it's not worth the risk of somebody getting their feelings hurt. Of course I'm not one of those people, if anything I tend to retaliate and probably just as nasty, but I try not to do that here. I have had a member tell me that I should have done a certain craft a different way or something or other. It took a lot for me to hold my tongue, but I responded as nicely as I could, even though it pissed me off to the highest pisstivity.
So if nothing else, I for one would like to keep something "happy, happy" in my life with all this recession crap going on. I need to get an "all" positive from somewhere to stay sane. Crafting is my release, with all the "drama" of life rearing its' ugly head on a regular basis, I come here for comfort.

I agree with Kiddo and Michelle, this is a place for us to release our creative spirits and for others to spur on one another. Everyone is free to post how they like, with or without how-to's, it's just so nice to see a community like ours sharing with eachother.

If someone doesn't like the method in which a project is made, all you do is post a version perhaps or keep it to yourselves, the people that post projects have taken their own time out to make something they think will inspire others.

I'm glad I missed the drama and sorry to hear it occured. My experience on CO+K has been the best, I get on with so many people here, and we are all like a family is helping eachother out, it is the best community I have come across. Let alone very imaginative and inspiring projects.

creative i love all your stuff (and don't think it could be critizied it awesome)we just need people that are new and mean (not roxanne she's very nice) to realize it takes a lot of courage to post something you made (and most of us hold are crafts dear to our hearts) that critizing it doesn't help anyone we like to encourage because it helps keep everyone one creative and makes it an enviorment where you cann post and feel good about what you do

Ah don't feel that you have to keep quiet and like things in secret Its just the really blunt and critical stuff thats not nice. Like people have said, it takes courage to stick your neck out and publish piccies of something you've made and its just about respecting this and keeping things encouraging and positive.

Like, i'd never publish anything here because I wouldn't have enough pride in my own work.
Ill just keep looking at everyone elses and admire them from afar =]
