My family used owned a video store for 10 yrs, So its hard for me to pick a favorite. Heres ones i like tho (I warn, my taste is kinda dark, & weird. lol im a horror buff mostly) & if u want any opinions on a movie, ive probably seen it. lol
TV Series: DEAD LIKE ME (my fav show of all time, hilarious!!)
Comedies: Stranger Than Fiction, Little Miss Sunshine, Krippendorf's Tribe, Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy, The Breakfast Club, Amelie (French)
Musicals: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sweeney Todd, Across the Universe.
Cartoons/Family: (like above) ANY Tim Burton or Studio Ghibli movies (Beetlejuice, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howls moving castle, r my favs) -The Neverending Story, Ratatouille, The last mimzy, Monster House, (disneys) Heavyweights.
Fantasy/comic book: The Queen of the Damned, Mirror Mask (kinda hard to find tho), The Time Machine, Sin City, The Punisher, X-Men (series). (M.Night Shyamalan movies) The Village, Lady in the Water.
(some of these r Kinda Dark) Dramas: The virgin suicides, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Thirteen, In America, Almost Famous.
Cool True Story Movies: American Splendor, A beautiful mind, Riding in cars with boys, The pursuit of happyness, Freedom Writers, The terminal, julie & julia.
Thrillers (not exactly horror): The butterfly effect, Secret Window, The number 23, Misery.
