I LOVE how bright and colorful it is - - in previous homes, my craft space has always been in a dim basement. This room is right off the main living area and has windows.

Tell us about your space

When designing our home, I was super excited to be able to work a craft room into the plans. It's a dedicated craft room for working on any and all projects - the kiddos sometimes use it for their projects, and I guess I can share a little with them ;) I love having a dedicated space!

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I've been able to bring in a lot of color - I love bright and colorful, and a craft room is one spot where there can never been too much color!

How do you keep organized?

Organization is always a struggle!! I have lots of shelves and cubbies and places to put all the supplies, although it always seems like there are more supplies than spaces ;)

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Something helpful that has been working for me is to go up - I felt like I was running out of room in the space, so I used the higher spaces that are normally overlooked. My shelving goes almost to the ceiling on every wall. I keep a stool in the room so I can reach the things that are stored up high.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I love adding handmade touches of decor throughout the room.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I love to find ideas wherever I go, snapping pictures of fun inspiration or saving screenshots of things I see online.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Everywhere!! There is inspiration everywhere, if you just look around.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I'm sure everyone thinks this, but I would love to double the space in my craft room. I would love even more windows and light. I would love to be able to set up several tables for group crafts.
