Description

Simple DIY Project for your home or a cute housewarming gift for a friend or family member. Can be easily personalized with paint markers.

Instructions

  1. Small 2019 09 11 203425 20190622 151604 fotor

First you need to gather your materials, choose your wooden board, paint colors and screw hook colors. I went with a darker wood, metallic craft paint and dark hooks. Don't forget to get as many foam brushes for each paint, they can be a pain to clean between colors

  2. Small 2019 09 11 203428 20190622 152036 fotor

Next you need to center the stencil (optional) all depends on your personal preference

  3. Small 2019 09 11 203432 20190622 152043 fotor

Get your paint ready (I used a disposable plate for easy clean up)

  4. Small 2019 09 11 203437 20190622 152218 fotor

Next start carefully painting your keys however you choose. Give time between layers on each key and between each key itself

  5. Small 2019 09 11 203443 20190622 152512 fotor

As keys dry start moving on to the next key

  6. Small 2019 09 11 203448 20190622 152901 fotor

Once all keys are painted, let fully dry (I probably waited 30 minutes) *Tip thin light layers helps dry faster*

  7. Small 2019 09 11 203454 20190622 162610 fotor

Once keys are mostly dry remove stencil (if you let dry completely you may risk the stencil sticking to the board) Add your screw hooks to the bottom and your photo hooks to the back
