What does your craft space look like?

My craft space is also our extra bedroom, so there is a sofa-bed in there and from time to time I have to stay away from it if we have guests. But I have a table that I can control the height (yeah!) and a thin table for my sewing machine. This past Christmas/Birthday I bought myself an overlocker. I have a small cabinet/archive where I try to contain my staff (buttons, ribbons, etc) and my fabric staff is inside plastic boxes and some shop bags (sad, I know, still trying to find a better way to keep them). I can send photos during the weekend (is Friday for me here).

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

Fabric scissors and ruler.

What do you craft along to?

Depends on the mood. sometimes music, sometimes I put a dvd. I have been trying to sew clothes this last year, so I have been watching a lot of Project Runway.

Favorite Craft

Patchwork is my first love and I love to select fabrics and try to image how it will work out. I usually get surprise with the final product anyway. I do a lot of lap blankets. The big project now is a stained glass style patchwork.

Claudia's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn carpentry and then be able to customize my craft space as I dream.

Who are your crafting heroes?

Jen from EPBOT and Karen from Sew Many Ways, but I mostly go around looking for things and finding that specific post that 'talks' to me.
