Featured Member Interview
How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I discovered your craftastic site during my latest search for gluten & lactose free recipes (one of the perks that came along with turning fabulously 40 was a sudden intolerance to gluten & lactose...harumph! Luckily your groovy site has allowed me to continue enjoying savoury & sweet treats!)
What projects are you currently working on?
Honestly? I never know what exactly I will be making from one day to the next, when inspiration
strikes, I go for it! I am constantly creating and my brain + notebooks & computer are
stuffed full of ideas...I just need more hours in the day!

What does your craft space look like?
n the 3 short years that I have been sewing & creating I've managed to amass a fabulously large
(yet completely organized) stash consisting of 100% vintage, recycled & second hand fabrics,
embellishments + loads of other awesome diy materials. I share my office/craft area with my munchkin's bedroom & thanks to a lot of creative space management have managed to 'comfortably' squeeze absolutely everything into my tiny 2m x 3m corner
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
My 25 year old retro Necchi sewing machine & lots of thrifted gear.
What do you craft along to?
I've actually created an eclectic playlist of tunes that get my maker blood pumpin’-

Sheri's Most Popular Projects
Favorite Craft
I am addicted to refashioning (hence the name of my blog, books, channel & Cut Out + Keep persona =O) It's so exciting to discover the potential in items that others deem fit for the charity shop or the bin. Having the ability to recreate tacky, unloved bits into stylish clothing & accessories is fantastic!

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I am completely smitten with all things knit & crochet but just don't have the patience or skill needed to do it. Luckily I have some very talented friends who are always up for crafty swap so my addiction to lovely knitted creations can continue =O)
Who are your crafting heroes?
Anyone who creates is my hero...especially those marvelous makers who use upcycled & recycled materials.
