What are your hobbies?
I have a sort of co-hobby where I throw a lot of extravagant parties for ordinary occasions. We have themed dinner parties a lot.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I have a love affair with paper, so those crafts are the best. There are so many things you can make with paper, and they totally create the theme for so many of my parties! Can't go wrong.
My craft space is my happy place! We just moved into this house and it's the first time I've had a whole room to myself. I have a whole corner where I can just sit and craft and nobody to get mad if there's glitter on the floor but me. It's wonderful!
What do you craft along to?
I am a huge Netflix binger, so recently I've been crafting with a side order of Scandal, which has resulted in some seriously late nights. If I'm really in the zone I'll just tune out with 8tracks playlists, and I'm a huge Spotify nerd. But if I'm just casually working on something, or have something tedious I want a little help with, Netflix is my go to.
What was the first project you ever made?
No! I've been crafting my entire life. My grandma was always super crafty so I started with her as a kid. I'd collect the scraps from her sewing machine and make them into imaginative doll clothes (that really were probably hot messes). I've pretty much established my uniform as "armed with glue gun and scissors".
What are your favorite items to make?
I love making cupcake toppers! I don't know why, but I find there's always a use for them. They're so simple but they end up creating a whole different look. They're like little magic paper sticks.
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
I love Oh Happy Day, because they're not afraid to be ridiculous and I'm all about that. On that same note I can't get over Studio DIY for the same reason. I'd love to meet them, they're like my spirit animals.
