When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I was born with a desire to create. I used to save boxes, scraps, and trinkets to make things for my dolls and my friends.
My mom taught me to sew. I used to hate following patterns--I felt like my creativity was being stifled--but I have come to appreciate their importance.
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I don't follow any particular designers more than others.
I love art, and I believe fashion, like art, should be a reflection of the creator up until it is worn by someone (other than a model). At that point, the fashion should reflect the person wearing it.
I most consistently like Kate Middleton's casual style (so what she wears when she's not in a wool dress suit and hat). She doesn't shy away from color, and she is classy and feminine.
What are your ultimate style tips?
Dress to reflect who you are inside. Don't compromise this. Once you have worked on your appearance for the day, leave the house with a confident smile, and don't second guess your choice one bit for the remainder of day. You can light up any room if you are true to who you are.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I love cropped jackets, so I'd probably go for a leather one from Kate Middleton.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
I don't really read many fashion blogs. I stumble on some here and there, but none come to mind.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love to paint. I love to bake and cook. I love running and playing tennis.,
