When did you first start crafting and how did you learn?
About 10 years ago my sister had a Creative Memories party. I went to that and was instantly hooked on scrapbooking, which led to all kinds of paper crafts.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
Scrapbook pages. Later mini albums of all kinds!
Where do you look for inspiration?
I am absolutely addicted to Pinterest.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
I finally have my own craft room that doubles as a guest room. The closet has shelves and I keep a lot of my supplies in there. I also have book shelves on two sides of my craft table that sits near the window to take advantage of the natural light.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
Every day I take a break from my transcription work that I do at home and spend an hour crafting and watching my soap opera, General Hospital. I have been watching it since I was in high school – back in the Luke and Laura days. Old habits die hard.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
No other crafts, but I also enjoy geocaching, camping and photography.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I just find playing with paper and craft supplies to be my therapy. It helps me through so much in life!
