What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I am a bit of a crafty mad-scientist. I love to experiment with new crafts, and to use craft products and materials in new ways. My style is ever-evolving and diverse. Most of my projects are mixed-media, whether they are home-decor or wearable art projects. My craft space is a room jam-packed full of creative supplies with a window that looks out on my flower gardens and our pasture - the supplies inspire me inside and the view of the flowers and animals inspires me.
What do you craft along to?
My music taste is quite eclectic - I listen to everything from Bon Jovi to the Monkees to Lee Brice to Celine Dion. When I've got the TV on when crafting, it's usually on some sort of sci-fi type series like Supernatural, or I've got my Buffy or Angel DVD's on.
What was the first project you ever made?
I've been crafting since I was a very little girl - my mother used to have a rock I painted in nursery school - I wanted it to be multi-colored so I added all the colors and mixed them, and it ended up black! She had it for years until someone took it off her desk at work. I don't remember making it - but it was one of my first creations!
What are your favorite items to make?
I love to try new materials & mediums when crafting. I don't really have specific favorite types of projects, it really depends on my mood at the time whether I create something for the house or garden, jewelry, etc.
