To make up Sew the body seam, leaving a gap for stuffing, stuff and close the gap. Work a gathering thread through the front of the body, over the decreases at row 36 and pull gently to make a dent for the eyes. Sew the seams of each front flipper and attach them to the body without stuffing. Repeat with the tail flippers. Using the photograph for guidance, attach the tusks. With dark brown yarn, embroider each eye with a French knot and nostrils or a nose with backstitch. With fine light brown yarn, create the whiskers with backstitch, leaving a long loop every other stitch. Cut the loops and tease the yarn for finer strands.
