A nice romantic gesture on Valentines Day. It is easy to make from scratch or you can buy the ingredients pre made & make it from there.
Bake, cool & cut the cake in half through the middle.
Pour some syrup onto the halved sponge.
Top the syrup with vanilla buttercream icing. Pour over some more syrup. Place the second half of the cake back on top.
Whip the chocolate ganache a little. Place in a piping bag.
Pipe roses or other decorations onto the cake.
Cut & serve.
