I keep losing my ear buds because I have nowhere specific to put them after using them at night and had two Claire's containers from some new nose jewellery I got a few weeks back and decided to put them to good use. Enjoy!

Description

I keep losing my ear buds because I have nowhere specific to put them after using them at night and had two Claire's containers from some new nose jewellery I got a few weeks back and decided to put them to good use. Enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 123844 img 0603

Peel off all stickers, take the cushion out.

  2. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 124308 img 0605

Make sure you leave it as smooth as possible so that the washi tape has no bubbles.

  3. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 124548 img 0606

This is the "Mermaid Splash" washi tape set from HobbyCraft that I used.

  4. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 131530 img 0607

Take your design of choice and wrap it around the front of your container, so it looks like a frame. NOT PICTURED: Before pressing the tape on the front, I took some scissors and cut the excess corners out so when folded, there weren't any bumps.

  5. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 132921 img 0602

My first one had a mermaid print frame :3

  6. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133516 img 0600

I screwed up this one, which was my first one, so I'll just explain with the next one.

  7. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133131 img 0608

Optional, but I thought it'd be a good idea, since I have a bit of trouble opening the packets. I made the flaps by cutting around 4-5cm for each strand and just making pointy ribbons out of them.

  8. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133158 img 0609

Insert the ribbon thingy through the whole and secure it with tape. I also did this to close up the whole so that it was completely shut off.

  9. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133416 img 0611

Bend it back and secure it with another piece of tape on the inside.

  10. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133623 img 0610

    Repeat on the back.

  11. Small 116581 2f2017 07 06 133855 img 0612

I forgot to take a pic of this step, so here's one of the washi tape I used, bought it at Hobbycraft. So what you want to do, is take your tape that you want as background and line both the inside and back of the bottom of the container.
