I love this. I'm going to embellish it more later with ribbons or d-rings or do like a corset lacing up the back or something.

For now::

I got about 30 shirts screenprinted ((SO EXPENSIVE)) for me to cut up and use as examples of t-shirt surgeries etc lasteyar for my fashion show. I have no idea where half of them have gone, but I have about 9 left I think.

Anyway. I cut out two rectangles, one for the front, one for the back. Added two panels of stripey lycra-liek fabric on the sides, a band of it across the top + a long fat but short tube for the skirt. I added an underskirt made from the remnants of the tee + stitched on a layer of purple gathered netting to the black to make it fouf out more.

I call it Trash Ballerina because its the name of one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands, the Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space.

It was freezing + raining + windy! the thigns I go through to show off! My best friend + house mate Lucy knitted the beanie I have effectively stolen from her.
