Sugar Glider Bag

Sugar glider "bondage" bag, haha.

So my boyfriend and I just got a sugar glider, Renfield, and to help him bond with us we found articles on making a bonding pouch that you hang around your neck and they "hang out" with you during the day to get used to your scent and what not. I started referring to it lovingly as the bondage pouch, so that's where the name came from. This whole thing was hand sewn because I suck at sewing fleece on my machine.

I couldn't find a whole piece of fleece lying around so I cut a strip off of a blanket I was working on.
Then I cut and pieced the strip together to make the size bag I wanted had I had a large piece of fleece to work with.

Cut a window/hole cover that with mesh, add a zipper,
sew sew sew all the sides together.

Did a running stitch along the top to prevent snagging when zipping and unzipping.
Pierce it with jump rings on the sides near the top and tie a shoe string or something to that to hang the bag around your neck.
Add your sugar glider, mine is named Renfield,
hang it on your neck, and you're finally done!

Now, have fun bonding with your sugar glider!

I think I will make a dice bag for game nights with the excess. I dunno, any suggestions?
I added a liner.
...and covered up the window.
