I was asked to make a gift for a friend who was Take That's No.1 Fan. There was allsorts flying round ideas wise - but this summed up their recent tour and was as personalised as possible.

I had a drawn out plan on a piece of grid paper. This song title was the centre piece. I laid it out exactly in the middle - measuring from either side of the card.
Laying out the next lyrics and words ready so I could work quicker than searching for letters in the bag they came in. This also helped me search for the different colour letters - I wanted to be as colourful as I could and not to have two of the same colour together.
Once I was sure, I applied a tiny amount of glue from a hot glue gun to the back of each bead - resting it on the ruler to keep a straight line as the glue set. Then crossing the next word through the first - it started to take shape.
My ruler was always to hand and really helped maintaining a straight line. It was quite easy to begin a curve - this card was also a bit tricky - once it was stuck - there was no going back.
I kept checking the spellings, colourings and straight lines throughout so I didnt make any mistakes.
I had the frame ready - I put double sided tape around the square mount. Carefully placing the card down - I made it straight and pressed down. It was in place! No going back!
Ta-Da! Finished and mounted! She loved it and so did all our friends :D
