  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 1
    Step 1

Find the design that you want and make sure that you have a pegboard big enough. You can buy pegboards and hama/perler beads from most toy stores.

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 2
    Step 2

Using the design as a template, start with the least used colours (in this case, the black and white used for the eyes) and place the hama beads on the pegboard.

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 3
    Step 3

Place the rest of the hama beads on the pegboard. This does get really tedious so i suggest putting on an awesome cd to help you get through it.

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 4
    Step 4

Place the baking paper (it's the waxyish paper used to line baking trays) on top of the beads and iron them as evenly as possible. Do not use steam and keep on a low heat. It should take between 10-20 seconds to melt the beads.

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 5
    Step 5

Flip over and melt the other side. Make sure you don't melt it too much or else you can't attach the jump rings!

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 6
    Step 6

Open the jump rings and attach the chain, then put the jump rings through one of the holes and close. Do this for two sides.

    Step 7

And tada, you've got your very own pacman ghost!

  • How to make a pegboard bead pendant. Pacman Pegboard Necklaces - Step 8
    Step 8

They make great gifts as you can create any type of design you want, as long as it fits on a pegboard.

@cutecreative, hama beads sometimes known as perler beads are small plastic beads that you place on a pegboard, then iron to make them stick to eachother. you can make various shapes and sizes with sevral different colored beads... :3 ive been making these for 5 years now!!!! :3
