For gaming on the go!

A quick crochet cozy for a Switch Lite that can be finished within two hours! Basic worsted acrylic yarn works fine, but you can "switch" it up with cotton or something stiffer. I made one with classic Switch colors, and one with ice cream sandwich colors

Instructions

  1. With hook and first color, chain 14.

  2. Half double crochet into the second chain. HDC to the second to last chain. HDC 3 into the last chain.

  3. Tilt to work the underside of the chain. Continue to HDC to the last chain. HDC 2 into the last chain. You should have a total of 29.

  4. From here, I worked in continuous rounds. I worked 6 total rounds in my first color, 13 rounds in my second color, and 6 rounds in my third color.

  5. Optional closure flap - After you've completed 25 rounds (9"), chain 2 to turn your work and HDC across 14. Repeat for a total of 4 rows. On the next row, chain 2, HDC 5, chain 3, skip 3, HDC 6. Pull through to close, break yarn, and weave in all ends. Sew button to the second to last round of your third color, aligned with the buttonhole.
