My boyfriend and I made those chunky candles to bring a bit of forest indoors. they smell of pine, levander and cinamon.

Those look amazing, did you put actual bark around them? I'd love a how-to if that's possible :)

Sorry guys I have no How to pics as I am new to your website.

This is real bark on one of the candles. the technic is very simple you make a simple candle first and then you stick the piecies of wood using a fire torch. The tricky part is not to burn the staff you are trying to stick on the candle. The second technic is to stick the decotation on the mould wall and then pour the hot wax in it. when its ready and out of the mould the decoration is not visible but if you use the torch again the decoration comes to light.
