So... Today I had an exam in Immunology... I didn't pass it. And I had to study study STUDY! But... insted I decided to do some crocheting. So that's my daily work... I found the pattern somewhere on the net and now I can't find it! That's why I will post the pattern here without any link to the original pattern. I did some modifications on it and it's quite different. But hey, after all that's the idea - to use your imagination!

Description

Instructions

  1. For the body you start with a magic loop ring Row 1 - 6 sc into magic loop (PULL TIGHT) -> 6sc Row 2 - 2 sc into each sc around -> 12 sc Row 3 - 1 sc, 2 sc in next sc repeat around -> 18 sc Row 4 - 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc repeat around -> 24 sc Row 5 - 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc repeat around -> 30 sc Row 6 - 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc repeat around -> 36 sc Row 7 - 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc repeat around -> 42 sc Rows 8 to 12 - 1 sc in each sc around -> 42 sc Row 13 - 5 sc, 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 36 sc Row 14 - 1 sc in each sc around -> 36 sc Row 15 - 4 sc, 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 30 sc Row 16 - 3 sc, 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 24 sc Row 17 - 2 sc, 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 18 sc Row 18 - 1 sc, 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 12 sc Row 19 - 1 sc in next 2* repeat around -> 6 sc Finish off

  2. Before u finish off the body STUFF it with rice. Or with Fiberfill. I used rice beacuse I didn't have anything else at home and... hmmm... I was to lazy to go out:))

  3. Small img 6905copy 1263239474

    For the eyes I used two types of beads - two of those flat ones and two of some really old round ones. You can make the eyes on the body with a different color of yarn, without any beads. Try different ideas, different beads...:)

    For the arms u start again with a magic loop ring Row 1 - 6 sc in magic loop(PULL TIGHT) Row 2 - 2 sc in each sc repeat around -> 12 sc Row 3 - 1 sc in each sc around -> 12 sc Row 4 - 3 sc, 1 sc in 2 sc*, 3 sc, 1 sc in 2 sc* -> 8 total When u do not finish off the arms it makes them slanted and they're way easier to attach to the body. In the original pattern they said to do 8 arms. And that's really the number of the arms of an octopus. But I did ten... After all this is a toy and I think it's cute with more arms:))
