New to sewing! What sort of stitch do you use for hand sewing? Blanket stitch or whip stitch..?

Hi, use blanket if you are using felt, if you use fleece you can use whip one, but for close always use ladderHappy

It is definitely Felt.
I used a synthetic felt. I know you can get different quality's, mine was very flexible and looked quite tight in terms of the fibres. I also stuffed it to the max so it had a nice round shape and no dints.

what kind of felt did you use?

Just ordinary acrylic felt from the craft shop. You can use wool felt though which will last longer and look a bit nicer too :]

Could you tell what are the measures of this poke-ball pattern?

You can really make it whatever size you want! Mine was about 11-12cm.

This is an amazing tutorial! I'm definitely going to try this~ I have a question. What stitches did you use?

Thank you! Yes please do! I set my sewing machine to 'zigzag' and a very small stitch, about W3.0 and L1.0. If hand sewing then I think it was a hemming stitch. Just a super basic one, make sure you do it close together so there are no gaps :]
