Here is an express sponge cake recipe made entirely in a food processor and decorated for Halloween. Its success lies in its speed of preparation. It is therefore important to prepare all the ingredients in advance and preheat the oven
In the bowl of the food processor put: -the egg whites - beat them until stiff -then the sugar -then the egg yolks -then the flour/yeast mixture. It should come out dry.
Let the sponge cake cool. Slice it in two. Make the filling: Melt the dark chocolate with 15 cl of milk in the microwave. Mix well and reserve a spoonful. With the rest, garnish the inside of the sponge cake. Melt the white chocolate with 10 cl of milk in the microwave and reserve a spoonful. With the rest, garnish the top of the sponge cake. Sprinkle with coconut. Trace the spider web onto the piping tip with the remaining dark chocolate. Make the spider by mixing the remaining white chocolate with coconut and make the legs with toothpicks.
