Description

This is a step-by-step tutorial of an ombre winged liner look with a gold metallic outline.

For the first step of this look I used Benefit brow pencil in no. 2. I primed my eyelids with Urban Decay primer potion in 'Eden'. I then applied MAC Cosmetics 'Brule' shadow on the lid to act as a base for my other shadows. I then applied Inglot Cosmetics '60' shadow to my crease.

For the second step of this look I added Inglot Cosmetics '51' shadow just below the yellow shade to create a depth to my crease. I then removed some of the lid shadow so I could map out the direction that I wanted my winged liner to follow.

For the third step I created the shape for my winged liner using the same Urban Decay primer potion. I then applied my matte shadows on top of the primer. For the yellow shade I used the same yellow that I had applied in the crease, the Inglot Cosmetics '60'. That was followed by the orange, Inglot '51'. The pink shade is NARS 'Coeur Battant' blush. The darkest shade is MakeUp Forever 'm928'.

For the fourth step of the look I applied a metallic shadow to the outsides of the winged shape to create an outline. I used Pat McGrath Labs Metalmorphosis 'Gold 01' pigment mixed with Mehron Mixing Liquid to achieve the metallic line. I also applied tape to the outer corner of the wing to make sure I get a clean and precise line.

For the fifth step of this look I remove my tape and clean up my wing with MAC Cosmetics studio fix concealer in NC 15. I then apply my Benefit 'They're Real' mascara and my false lashes.

For the sixth step of this look I apply my NARS Sheer Glow foundation to even out my skin tone and get rid of any discoloration. I also apply MAC Cosmetics 'smolder' into my waterline.

For the seventh step of this look I apply the eye shadow colors that I used in the crease and on the lid. I start from the darkest shadow and work downwards to create an ombre blend of the colors.

  8. Small 116104 2f2017 03 20 104643 17372990 10154262679627595 1009443129 o

For the eight step I apply mascara to the bottom eyelashes and apply Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel.

For the ninth step I decided to back in with my Pat McGrath Labs 'Gold 01' pigment and add to the winged liner. I also added some of the gold to my under eye area as well.
