Cast on 32 chains (If your hand is bigger you might want to cast on more rows. Just make sure it is an even number. And that you end on a purl stitch.)
then rib stitch 15 rows
then 12 rows alternating between knit and purl stitches. Lastly stitch another 6 rows of rib stitch.
