Polyester is a difficult fabric to dye, so you will need to use a lot of dye and it will come out a pastel colour. If you are after a darker or brighter shade this method won't work with 100% polyester fabric. This method does work for blends and natural fabrics, however these take dye better and the dye will come out bright, NOT pastel!
