This dress is the greatest thrift store find I have found in quite a while. Because it's twirly! Everybody needs to wear a twirly dress every once in a while. All I really did to change this dress was to take off the collar and take in the sides of the top and the skirt.

Description

This dress is the greatest thrift store find I have found in quite a while. Because it's twirly! Everybody needs to wear a twirly dress every once in a while. All I really did to change this dress was to take off the collar and take in the sides of the top and the skirt.

Instructions

  1. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181018 img 6415

Carefully rip out the stitching that attaches the collar off.

  2. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181118 img 6417

Pull out all of the leftover threads.

  3. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181132 img 6420

After I ripped out the collar I just sewed the seam back up with black thread.

  4. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181212 img 6427

Then I just put on the skirt and pinned it until I liked the way it fit.

  5. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181221 img 6430

And did the same to the shirt.

  6. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181303 img 6432

Then sewed it up with black thread.

  7. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181347 img 6435

Then trim all of your leftover threads.

  8. Small 114460 2f2016 06 06 181416 img 6466

    Tada! Quite simple
