Give Your Home That Extra Awesome

My friend Cleo has been decorating her room and bathroom since she got it, and its amazing, but there was always more room left over. Then I walk into her bathroom and it looks different, and I notice its JUST BECAUSE of her outlet cover! Its a Betty Paige one, and it looks amazing!

So I got an idea to do a bunch of thems with buttons, and splatter paint, fake leaves, cloth, TONS OF STUFF.

But my OTHER friend aleasha did one with just some font and a picture or two, and I figured I already have the materials for that, so I'll do that one first.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    So you'll need glue or a paste mixture [I used what little was left in the glue bottle, and filled it a quarter way up with water].

    Some tape if you want to make it more shiney and stable.

    Scissors

    Scraps to decorate it with

    and of course, an outlet cover.

  2. Step 2

    It's pretty simple, just plan out a design, cut out the pieces, glue them on, and if you want, put the tape over it.

    If you're going to use buttons or beads, may I suggest taping it BEFORE you put them on :D

Awesome! I glued a bunch of wiggly on my the light switch thing in my room; people get a little freaked out when they see it :P

I should do this... we just moved into an old house and none of the plates switches match >.> Some are more yellowie then others and it's driving me crazy

great! i did this thing with my light switch and outlet covers when I was decorating my room beacause I wanted it to be like jungle ;) and it looks great and tooks only few minutes to do
