  • How to make a paper clutch. Collage Handbag - Step 1
    Step 1

Start with a collage (cut and paste random pictures from your computer/magazine)

Then find a page out of a magazine that you would like for the inside pattern.

    Step 3

Now, here is where you decide what you'd like to do so you can close the bag, I'm using magnets but you could use buttons, snaps, or velcro. I got my magnets off of an old locker shelf. You could probabally find some that would work at your local craft store.

  • Step 4

Glue your peices back to back lightly with the glue stick, so you can still kind of peel them apart. open one of the ends

    Step 5

Fold the peices into three sections, kind of like this, so you know which part the flap is going to be.

    Step 6

This is the kind of confusing part, (I'll do the best I can...) peel open the bottom end, and put the large magnet inside,

    Step 7

Now, you need to tape the smaller magnet onto the top part.

first reseal the bottom, and fold the top part over.

peel the peices open, and tape the magnet inside, you should feel the magnets attracting.

MAKE SURE THE MAGNETS MEET UP WHEN YOU CLOSE IT!!! (double check)

    Step 8

Slide your two peices into the paper protecter.

    Step 9

(with your sewing machine) sew along all the edges.

    Step 10

Cut off the exess paper protecter, leave about 1/8 of a centemeter on each side.

    OPTIONAL STEP!!

Now, if you'd like to round the corners on the flap, (like I did) heres how,

draw rounded edges on the flap, and sew along them. cut along the edges.

    Step 12

Fold the bottom of your handbag like so, and sew it on the dotted lines
