These beautiful flowers are really simple to make but look really impressive, especially in multiples. They're pretty quick and easy to make and very cheap! If you prefer to watch a video tutorial I have one here for you: https://youtu.be/siGcuBCQJtk

Start by cutting a stack of paper rectangles, mine are roughly A4 size. You need between 3-8 sheets of paper for a good bloom! Newspaper makes quite a chunky bloom but you can also use tissue paper, packing paper or anything reasonably light weight.
Stack your rectangles and fold them (all together) into a concertina (paper fan.)
Fold the concertina in half and bind the centre with your pipe cleaner. If you haven't got pipe cleaners then a bit of wire, a sandwich tie or even thread will work.
Round off each end of the concertina to make petals.
Open up the concertina into a circle and then very carefully lift and separate each layer. This bit can be a bit fiddly so take your time!
Admire your bloom! Make some more and use up all that scrap paper!
