First, cut the top and bottom off your can and flatten it out like so. I used regular scissors but imagine that metal cutters would be easier.
You also probably want to clean the can too.
Step 2
Next cut that piece in two and fold the edges down using the pliers about 1 or 2 inches like this photo.
Step 3
Last of all, you can place some clear packing tape on the inside for added comfort. Be sure to make two holes n either end to add either a snap closure or a ribbon like I did.
i was very sad when i looked at the back of my once beloved kiwi strawberry arizona drink to see 20 something grams of sugar for half the can and the saddest part of it all, IT HAS HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!! Q.Q
I wanna try making some more stuff from cans, but also worried about edges. hmmm, not sure u can smooth them down that easy, especially if they awkward shapes. ne ideas??
Thats what I was thinking of! I almost bought this watch (this was before my crafting phase) from my city's art gallery, that a local artist made, with a Andy Warhol pic. 90$ CDN! And now that I think of it, it looked like one out of a cereal box!
Thanks
