Fall is here and with it comes....APPLES! We grow several varieties on our property and freeze quite a bit so that I can make apple crisp all through out the year.

You will need

6 Medium Apples , cored ,peeled and cut into slices ½ cup Of Sugar ½ tsp Cinnamon
Topping
½ cup Shortening ... I use 1 stick of softened butter ½ cup Of Flour 1 cup Of Oatmeal ¾ cup Of Brown Sugar

Fall is here and with it comes....APPLES! We grow several varieties on our property and freeze quite a bit so that I can make apple crisp all through out the year.

Instructions

1. Mix sugar and cinnamon and stir into apples until well blended. Put mixture into oven safe casserole dish.

2. Topping Blend these ingredients with a fork and spread over apples.

3. Bake in a slow oven for about 45 minutes at 375 degrees Enjoy with ice cream!
