Opened in 1835 by Marie Tussaud, Madame Tussauds waxworks is one of London's oldest tourist attractions.

The first room you enter is the party where you're given the chance to rub waxy shoulders with red carpet celebrities.

Filled with dozens of waxworks and celebrities taking selfies, it felt like a real party where you'd spot famous faces you recognised in the crowd.

Never camera shy, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were at the back of the room taking a selfie.

Meanwhile, Tom Hardy was sitting comfortably on a sofa where you were encouraged to cuddle up and listen to his heartbeat.

After the party, came the Hollywood section featuring everyones favourite actors, movie characters and directors.

There were even sections dedicated to movies like Star Wars, Kong Island and the Marvel adaptations.

Back to reality, the next section was dedicated to sports stars, historical and political figures and even YouTube personalities like Zoella.

It's the perfect opportunity to stand next to your favourite, and least favourite, world figures.

Newly weds Harry & Megan were the most popular attraction, along with the Buckingham Palace balcony where you could stand alongside the Queen and other Royals.

Next came the music hall of fame featuring singers and musicians from throughout the decades from Michael Jackson and The Beatles to Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.

One of the most interesting areas of the museum was the behind the scenes are where you got to see how the waxworks are made.

Thanks for sharing this Cat. I really enjoyed it. Some people I didn't recognise but some were very realistic. Would love to go there one day.Love
