How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

My sister told me about the website because I wanted to find crafty projects and I've been a member ever since.

What projects are you currently working on?

I've just completed all of my Christmas gifts for family and friends. And before that, I completed 2 dozen hats for preemie babies. A friend of mine works for March of Dimes and put a call out to all of her knitting and crocheting friends for help.

What does your craft space look like?

My craft space is just a corner in my living room. Most of the time I crochet in the early hours of the day, while everyone else is still asleep, so I can concentrate on the project.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

My most used tool is my 5.00 MM H crochet hook. It's aluminum and perfect for just about all of my projects. I've used it so much that I've worn down the color in the spots where I hold it.

What do you craft along to?

I usually craft while binging Netflix shows: Doctor Who, Supernatural, Revolution, to name few.

Favorite Craft

I love to crochet. My mom taught me when I was younger, around 11 years old. I never really got into it until years and year later; when my daughter was born. I've made so many toys, blankets, and hats for her.
My favorite thing to crochet is anything that will be loved by whomever is receiving it. Whether it is a scarf for a friend, a hat for my daughter, a blanket for a family member or a doll for a friend, I just love to make stuff that will be appreciated.

Carol's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I wold love to master working with polymer clays. I've tried and I'm just not any good at it, lol.

Who are your crafting heroes?

My mom is my crafting hero. She has crocheted for years and has passed that on to me. One day, I hope to pass it along to my daughter.
