What are your hobbies?
I love to travel, especially road trips.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I love working with textiles/fibers and paper and often mix the two. I also like recycled crafts i.e. using materials that were about to take a trip to the landfill.
My space is very messy. It has a table wit a sewing machine and another table usually covered with several works in progress.
What do you craft along to?
I listen to a lot of podcasts. My favorite ones: Hidden Brain, TED radio hour, Radio Lab, Otherhood.
What was the first project you ever made?
Crochet Barbie clothes. I was fairly young 10 or 12 yrs old and my mom helped me. I didn't crochet again until my mid 20s and then I made a ton of crochet scarves and a few baby blankets.
What are your favorite items to make?
Simple, easy and quick crafts. Time is limited and precious to me and I like to see my final results quickly. So I seldom start large projects because they will never get finished.
