Personalized loafers are pretty popular among the Style Bloggers right now. Many Designers offer online module-systems where the customers can basically design their own model by specifying form, color, material and put their own monogram onto the shoes. The price range lies between 150$ and 800$ for a pair and the waiting time is about 2-3 weeks. Much quicker and much cheaper is this DIY version. You will need to invest some time for the twine border line but otherwise this shoes makeover is a simple process.

    What you will need...

Paint the beads with red nail polisher. You can use the regular plastic red beads but the wooden beads are lighter.

Cut a long piece of the twine and attach it to the loafer with the regular thread along the edge. Use the thimble and a strong but thin needle to be able to get through the material of the shoe.

Make a knot at the shoe's ferse and secure the bow with the regular thread and needle.

Put the beads onto the ends of the bow and secure with 2 knots.

Glue the patches onto the "nose" of the loafers. I used two different patches to give the loafers an unique design.
